Week 8

Recitation:
Worked on the specifications of the magnet for the final draft report. Also did the teamwork assessment. Managed to finish the specifications on the final draft report, submitted it. Afterwards,  finished a separate page for specifications of the magnet.


Lab:
Issue occurred where the wooden mount broke. Found that the piece of the mount breaking off was a good thing as it allowed for better access to keep attached to the mount.

Another issue occurred with the magnetic sphere where it colored tape had to be used to change the color.

Also found the gel to be an issue where it was ripping with the taped magnetic sphere, may need weak gel won't tear.

Proceeded to prepare for actual testing with a the arduino board and camera. Managed to get the arduino board and python code to work together. Got the color based tracking to work effectively and fast. Controlled the motor using location tracking based on the location of the magnetic sphere.
